New OPI Additionals To My Collections

This is the OPI that I received today, My Private Jet. Decided to get this colour because I saw the display outside Jean Yip nail salon @ Jurong Point the other day. Immediately SMSed Tammy and asked if she had stock for this colour...haha...bad habit again...see nice colour always SMS Tammy check for stock availability...as seen on picture 1, this colour had diamond dust...the reason why I bought it.

New Essie Additionals To My Collections

Got the Essie and the OPI i bought from Tammy today. All 3 colours from Essie are pink...light pink, pearl pink and hot pink...Lol...from Left to Right are: Mademoiselle, Room with a view and Mod Squad. Saw from Essie official website that Mademoiselle was voted for the Readers' Choice Award Winner. A light pink that should be suitable for applying as french. Loved the hot pink, Mod Squad, nice, nice colour. Had been in love in hot pink recently. Previously I had bought 3 other hot pink by OPI. First time buying hot pink from another brand.

Picture 4 (Click to enlarge)

Broke my nails on Monday :( I was preparing to have my nails to be drawn when I go Taipei in coming August...had to trim all my nails short...might be something good too cos I had my long nails for more than 6 months! Maybe I should try gel nails one of these days :) although I had short nails I still do design on them...lol...I did very simple gradiation so they won't look plain at all.

Here's how I did:

Colours used: Base & Top coat both from The Faceshop, TINS The Aurora Mist and TINS The Pink Sapphire

1. Apply 1 coat of base coat on nail, let dry.

2. Apply 2 coats of TINS The Aurora Mist (Pic 1), let dry.

3.Apply half of the nails with TINS The Pink Sapphire(Pic 2). Let dry.

4. Lastly apply 2 coats of top coat, and it is done (Pic 3 and 4)!

Essie Island Hopping

Nice colour!

Applying Essie Island Hopping after shaping my nails to round shape. I remembered applying St. Lilac the last time but find their nail colours quite 'watery' state...don't really like...yesterday try applying Essie again, still I find their lacquer 'watery' compared to other brands which I had used before. The first coat was uneven, but when I applied the second coating...I changed my opinion on Essie :) I realised that the 'watery' lacquer actual helps me to apply the colour on my nails easier. No worries about the nail colour would had been dried up abit even I haven't finish applying the whole nail. Look very glossy even before applying any top coat :)

I'm sure to be ordering more Essie from now.

Picture 4 (Click to enlarge)

Picture 5 (Click to enlarge)

This is the current design that I'm wearing now on my nails, as mentioned previously on my blog I will try the combination of ENN-101 and END-201. Liked this combination, ENN-101 is the shiny dust type. I used it as my base and END-201 for my french. END-201 gives a silvery and glittery colour. Nice combination. Here's the steps how to do this design, I didn't took the pictures step by step as on previous few tutorials I had demo how to use faceshop french stickers.

Base/ top coat used: Both from Faceshop
Colours used: Eternal ENN-101 and END-201
3D Sticker used: Eternal Pa148

1. Apply 1 coat of faceshop base coat (Refer to picture 4, 1st bottle). Let dry.

2. Apply 2 coats of Eternal ENN-101 (Refer to picture 4, 3rd bottle). Let dry.

3. Paste french stickers on the nails, apply 2 coats of Eternal END-201 (Refer to picture 4, 4th bottle). Let dry.

4. Remove the french stickers stripes, paste Eternal 3D stickers Pa148 across the french line to each desired nail size. Use an orange stick to paste on each sticker to make sure every sticker is well set on.

5. Apply 2 coats of top coats on every nail, let dry. Done!

Lol...actually didn't want to take a picture of my toes design but when I reached home I looked at my own feet with my shoes on...then I just took out my handphone automatically...heehee...I liked this combination of TINS Macaron Framboises with PA Sticker Peta39. Is a sweet pink with fine glitters, blink blink. By applying top coat on it makes this colour even more nicer...Peta39 is a very simple designed nail sticker, is those flat type and the size of each stickers suit our first toe very well :) only pasted my first toe with nail stickers cos the rest of my toes are small. Here's the steps:

Base/ top coat used: Both from Faceshop

Colour used: TINS Macaron Framboises

Sticker used: PA Peta39

1. Apply 1 coat of base coat (Refer picture 2, 1st bottle), let dry.

2. Apply 2 coats of TINS Macaron Framboises (Refer picture 2, 3rd bottle), let dry.

3. Paste Eternal sticker Peta39 (Refer picture 2) on the 1st toe of each feet.

4. Apply 2 coats of top coat (Refer picture 2, 3rd bottle), let dry. It's done!

New OPI Additionals To My Collections

Bought some more OPI this time, heehee, yes...I had really gone sort of crazy about nail colours...from left to right are: Chapel Of Love, Louvre Me Lourve Me Not, Sea Ya Later, Sailor and Banana Bandanna.
Sea Ya Later, Sailor is a very light colour. I had tried using Eternal ENE - 602 as base and top with Sea Ya Later, Sailor. The colour matched very well and can even see the small tiny shiny glitters of Sea Ya Later, Sailor. Had also tried Banana Bandanna but was demo on my boyfriend's nail...heehee, as my nails are on colours now. Of course I love this colour too! I recommend this colour. A baby yellow colour, I applied 3 times on Kelvin's nail yesterday as I felt that the colour was not so nice when I applied only 2 coats...but still it depend on individual :) will be applying this colour at the end of this week...and of course I removed the colour from Kelvin's nail after that...heehee

My Simple Tutorial Nails - Not So Bora-bora-ing Pink top with Text Me - Text You

Demo this on Winnie's nails today. This is very easy to be done. I applied the base coat, 2 coats of Not So Bora-bora-ing Pink and lastly apply Text Me - Text You on top. Are you able to see the very tiny little glitters on Winnie's nails? Those are the effect of Text Me - Text You. Really like this colour very much! I don't think there's a need to apply top coat anymore.

My Essie Nail Colour Collections

Had heard of the brand Essie previously but didn't have any intention of buying them, but bought Essie since Tammy had some of the colours. Left to right: St. Lucia Lilac, Island Hopping. St. Lucia Lilac is abit of too light for me, I prefer Island Hopping more. This colour is more like a brown and somehow like dark purple...I didn't have a nail colour like this colour before. Should matches well with any nail stickers.

New OPI Additions To My Collections

Bought some OPIs again...heehee, this time bought 5 bottles. Quite happy with these 5 colours. They are (left to right): Not So Bora-bora-ing Pink, Party In My Cabana, Puerto Vallarta Violeta, Overexposed In South Beach, Text Me - Text You.

I like Text Me - Text You, the small tiny glitters are very nice. I had tried applying 2 coats of pink base then Text Me - Text You on top. The effect are nice! From the Valentine's Day 2008 Collection, I supposed this colour tends to be sweet :)
